TCIE brings home a 4th place finish in WGI Finals:

The 2008 season has come to it's dramatic conlusion with TCIE taking 4th place (90.40) in Percussion Independent Open finals! All staff and members would like to thank our family, friends, and local music community for their continued support! A very special thanks to the Tates Creek HS band directors and band program for their support and enthusiasm! Also, a very large thank you to Innovative Percussion, Remo, and Yamaha.

“The Speed of Life” of Tates Creek Indoor Ensemble (4th-90.4) explored the hectic nature of contemporary life and how we can get caught up in the daily grind of existence to the exclusion of enjoying all life has to offer. When offered “one more chance” to get it right, will we grab the opportunity and run with it? The line emphatically declared that there is so much to do…right now.
